Soakaway Shafts – Reliable Solutions for Rainwater Infiltration
GreenLife soakaway shafts, available in capacities ranging from 160 to 2,000 litres, provide an effective solution for the temporary retention and controlled infiltration of rainwater. Manufactured from durable polyethylene (PE), these systems are robust, low-maintenance, and equipped with an integrated coarse debris filter basket to help ensure long-term performance.
A walkable plastic cover is included as standard, while larger models (from 950 litres upwards) can be upgraded with accessories to support passenger vehicle or even truck traffic. This makes them suitable for a wide range of residential, commercial, and public drainage applications.
For optimal results, installation should be tailored to local soil conditions. A soil assessment or percolation test is recommended to ensure efficient infiltration and reliable long-term operation.
