Rainwater retention = local rainwater retention to relieve the burden on public sewer systems

The retention of surface water in urban areas—especially in new development zones—is becoming increasingly important, both in the private and public sectors. Many municipalities levy fees on impervious surfaces and mandate rainwater retention; in some cases, it is also subsidized.

Retention tanks / retention systems collect the falling precipitation, store it, and release it to the sewer system in a delayed / throttled manner. This helps relieve the sewer system during heavy rainfall events.

  - • With a floating retention throttle with throttling capacities of 0.05–2.5 l/s
  - • with inlet stilling basin and overflow siphon

  - • Easy handling due to lower weight compared to concrete or steel
  - • Includes a retractable sliding dome with a walkable plastic cover
