Geotextile, 200 g/m² – Filter fabric for infiltration systems
Filter and protective layer for drainage elements—retains soil and helps reduce silt buildup within the system structure.
€4.95
Available, delivery time: 6 - 8 Working Days
- Protective layer approximately 1.5 mm thick
- stable during installation due to high transverse strength
- available in sheets starting at 5 m²
Protected Installation of Infiltration Systems
The GreenLife geotextile (200 g/m²) is used as a filter and protective geotextile during the installation of infiltration systems. Infiltration elements, such as infiltration cubes or infiltration shafts, are completely wrapped in the geotextile. This prevents soil from entering the infiltration elements and reduces silting in the system.
The geotextile is sold by the square meter. The minimum order quantity is 5 m².
Product Features and Benefits
- Filter and protective layer—keeps soil away from the infiltration element during installation and supports a protected system structure
- Robust design – approx. 200 g/m² basis weight and approx. 1.5 mm thickness
- High tensile strength—approx. 4.0 kN/m longitudinally and approx. 7.0 kN/m transversely for stable handling during installation

Installation & Application
During installation, the geotextile is wrapped completely around the respective infiltration element. It serves as a filter and protective layer between the element and the surrounding soil.
Local soil conditions are critical for the proper design of an infiltration system. The soil’s infiltration capacity should be verified in advance through a soil survey or an infiltration test. The system must be sized according to the existing soil conditions. Please also follow the installation instructions for the respective infiltration element.
