Installation & Application

The drainage cube is designed as an easy-to-assemble kit and consists of six side panels with molded-in mounting pins. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it is also suitable for confined installation areas, such as under paths, patios, or green belts.

To protect against soil intrusion, the infiltration cube must be wrapped in a suitable geotextile.

Local soil conditions are critical for the proper design of an infiltration system and should be verified through a soil survey or an infiltration test. The system’s design must be adapted to the soil’s existing infiltration capacity. Please refer to the installation instructions for the 205-liter infiltration cube as well as the instructions for the infiltration test.

Depending on the configuration and installation situation, an infiltration system may require suitable ventilation and aeration to ensure the necessary air balance within the system, or an emergency overflow. Here, for example, you will find a suitable product: Ventilation and aeration unit with emergency overflow DN 100

Pre-filter infiltration "EASY PRO"

Durable rainwater pre-filter with coarse debris basket – pre-assembled, low-maintenance, long-lasting The “Easy Pro” rainwater pre-filter is the reliable solution for pre-filtering rainwater before it enters your cistern or infiltration system. With two pre-assembled DN100 connections and a high-quality, walkable cover, this pre-filter offers an optimal combination of functionality, safety, and design. Thanks to the coarse debris filter basket installed in the shaft, coarse contaminants are efficiently retained. The filtered rainwater then flows cleanly for further use or infiltration into the ground. The filter is easily accessible, particularly easy to maintain, and ideally suited for installation in the ground. Product benefits at a glance:Ready to connect, pre-assembled & ready for immediate useCoarse debris filter basket for clean rainwaterDurable, slip-resistant plastic cover (load capacity up to 200 kg), child-proof screw-onuniversally applicable for cisterns or infiltration systemsTwo DN100 connections (lip seals pre-installed)Environmentally friendly: made from partially recycled PE, fully recyclableEasy to clean – ideal for areas with heavy leaf fall Application This pre-filter is ideally suited for use in infiltration systems, for example in combination with infiltration trenches, infiltration cubes, or infiltration blocks. It can also be installed upstream of a cistern to effectively remove coarse contaminants from incoming rainwater. Technical Data & NotesMaterial: durable, UV-resistant plastic (PE)Cover: walkable, slip-resistant, Ø 600 mmCleaning opening: easily accessiblePossible connection size: DN 110Symbolism: Cover design featuring the “Flower of Life” – slip-resistant & decorative Material & Quality The “Easy Pro” pre-filter is made of durable, eco-friendly polyethylene (PE)—an ideal material for use in rainwater management. PE is not only durable and shatter-resistant, but also fully recyclable, free of harmful substances, and chemically inert. This ensures that the quality of the filtered rainwater remains unaltered. Thanks to its high-quality construction, the filter is particularly easy to install and maintain. It is manufactured in a resource-efficient manner, partly using recycled plastic. Compared to pre-filters made of other materials, PE offers better recyclability, lower weight, and easier handling—both during installation and ongoing operation. Installation and Maintenance Instructions The filter should be embedded in a sand bed in a horizontal position and compacted. (An inclined position can impair function.) The shaft can be shortened and adapted to local conditions. For cleaning, we recommend regularly rinsing the filter basket with a garden hose depending on the amount of fallen leaves. Do you have any questions? Our technical support team is happy to assist you with installation, connection, or planning questions. Contact us by phone at 0385 77 337 72 (weekdays 8 a.m.–4 p.m.) or by email at service@greenlife.de.

Air Inlet and Outlet with Emergency Overflow, DN 100

Vent and Drain Valves for Safe Pressure Equalization & Reliable Emergency Drainage The vent and air release valve with DN 100 emergency overflow ensures reliable air equalization in tanks, pipelines, and infiltration systems and effectively protects the system against overpressure or underpressure. If the maximum water level is exceeded—for example, during heavy rain— the component also functions as an emergency overflow to ensure safe drainage. The vent and air release valve is typically installed at the end of an infiltration system and is usually discreetly located outdoors, e.g., in a hedge or flower bed. To ensure that (rain)water can flow smoothly into the system, a controlled air outlet must be ensured elsewhere. To achieve this, a DN 100 KG pipe is installed behind the system, which safely directs the air to the surface. The vent is the terminal point of this line and is designed to reliably prevent animals from entering. Product Features & Benefits at a Glance Pressure equalization during water withdrawal or supply —prevents damage caused by overpressure or underpressure Automatic venting and air intake – ensures trouble-free system operation Integrated emergency overflow – protects against overfilling during heavy rain Standard DN 100 connection – compatible with common KG pipe systems Lightweight & durable – approx. 350 g, made of robust polypropylene Made in Germany – manufactured to high quality standards and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 Typical Applications Rainwater storage tanks & infiltration systems – for ventilation and emergency drainage Wastewater collection pits & infiltration systems at wastewater treatment plants – for pressure equalization and operational reliability Sustainability The product is made of durable, single-grade, and fully recyclable polypropylene. The material is long-lasting, environmentally friendly, and chemically inert—it has no impact on the environment. The production and recycling of this plastic are carried out in a resource-efficient manner. Responsible use in line with the circular economy is, for us, a central component of sustainable action. Notes The vent should be inspected once or twice a year to ensure consistently reliable operation.
