Highly effective rainwater filter chamber for sedimentation and filtration, including an inlet flow regulator, dome, and cover Maximum water quality through 2-stage purification: sedimentation and filtration in a single step. With the GreenLife 2000 L Sedimentation and Filter Chamber, you get a high-performance, low-maintenance solution for the pretreatment of stormwater. This rainwater filter chamber combines sedimentation and filtration in a compact system—ideal for connection to cisterns, infiltration systems, or for pretreatment before discharge into water bodies. Two variants – the right fit for your project:Connection size selectable: DN 150 or DN 200 Includes inlet flow regulator, dome chamber, and child-safe cover Versatile, robust, well-designed – advantages at a glanceCombined chamber for sedimentation & filtrationfor rainwater from impervious surfaces up to approximately 1,000 m²Reliable protection against sand, leaves, oil, and suspended solidsEasy to maintain thanks to an easily accessible filter moduleSturdy, durable, and eco-friendly: made from recyclable PENo height difference between inlet and outletWalkable, optionally suitable for car/truck traffic (accessories sold separately)Decorative, slip-resistant cover featuring the “Flower of Life”Flexible installation thanks to stepless dome adjustment How the rainwater filter shaft works This product was developed for non-hazardous or low-pollutant stormwater runoff. 1. Inlet calming: The inflowing rainwater is slowed down by the inlet calming device. 2. Sedimentation: Coarse particles (e.g., sand, silt) settle in the spacious sedimentation chamber. 3. Filtration in the submerged pipe: Suspended solids, fine particles, fats, and oils are retained before the water enters the cistern or infiltration system. 4. Downstream system protected: Ideal for rainwater harvesting or safe infiltration. Material & Quality The rainwater filter shaft is made of high-quality, UV-stable polyethylene (PE)—it is shatterproof, durable, and 100% recyclable. The sustainable material is chemically inert and therefore ideally suited to ensuring long-term water quality. The shaft is fully pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. Installation & Maintenance The filter shaft (rainwater) is placed horizontally in a sand bed, filled in layer by layer, and compacted. The extendable leveling dome allows for easy adjustment to the ground level. Maintenance of the filter system is conveniently carried out via the inspection opening in the dome. Vent and air release valves for safe pressure equalization & reliable emergency drainage The vent and air release valve with DN 100 emergency overflow ensures reliable air equalization in tanks, pipes, and soakaway systems and effectively protects the system against overpressure or underpressure. If the maximum water level is exceeded, for example during heavy rain, the component also acts as an emergency overflow for safe drainage. The vent is typically installed at the end of an infiltration system and is usually discreetly located outdoors, e.g., in a hedge or flower bed. To ensure that (rain)water can flow smoothly into the system, a controlled air outlet must be provided elsewhere. For this purpose, a DN 100 KG pipe is installed behind the system, which safely guides the air to the surface. The vent is the terminus of this line and is designed to reliably prevent the entry of animals. Product Features & Benefits at a Glance Pressure equalization during water withdrawal or supply – prevents damage caused by overpressure or underpressure Automatic venting and de-airing – ensures trouble-free system operation Integrated emergency overflow – protects against overfilling during heavy rain Standard DN 100 connection – compatible with common KG pipe systems Lightweight & durable – approx. 350 g, made of robust polypropylene Made in Germany – manufactured to high quality standards and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 Typical applications Rainwater storage tanks & infiltration systems – for ventilation and emergency drainage Wastewater collection pits & infiltration systems in wastewater treatment plants – for pressure equalization and operational reliability Sustainability The product is made of durable, single-grade, and fully recyclable polypropylene. The material is long-lasting, free of harmful substances, environmentally friendly, and chemically inert – it has no impact on the environment. The production and recycling of this plastic are resource-efficient. Responsible use in line with the circular economy is a central component of our sustainable practices. Notes The vent should be inspected once or twice a year to ensure consistently reliable operation.
