Compact small-scale system for self-supply with DVGW certificationTreat rainwater into drinking water without chemicals Do you want to be less dependent on tap water, or do you simply not have a water connection? But do you have the option to collect rainwater? Then our rainwater treatment system with a UV disinfection unit and DVGW type-approval certificate is the right solution for you: This system can reliably meet the requirements of local health authorities regarding a DVGW-certified system. Please also check with your local authority (e.g., the public health department in Germany) to see if any additional local regulations apply to the operation of such a system. Whether it’s a single-family home, industrial or commercial facility, construction trailer, boathouse, or other remote building: With the GreenLife drinking water treatment system, you can supply yourself with good drinking water—derived from an inexhaustible, natural resource: rainwater! Rainwater is formed through evaporation in the atmosphere—an excellent and free initial treatment. As a result, rainwater has a high basic quality as drinking and utility water. Among other things, it is free of lime and phosphate as well as hormone and medication residues. Treating the water is advisable, as it can reabsorb substances before being stored in the tank. How the drinking water treatment system works With our system, rainwater is treated into drinking water without chemicals: After mechanical filtration, bacteria, germs, and viruses are inactivated through UV disinfection, rendering them harmless. Via the GUP 46 submersible pressure pump, the rainwater you have collected in a water tank (cistern) is fed to the DVGW-certified drinking water UV treatment system. There, it first passes through two sediment filters (20 µm and 10 µm), then an activated carbon filter, and finally undergoes UV disinfection. The system can treat a maximum of 3.4 m³/h of water. It has been tested for safety and functionality by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). For further information, please contact us at info@greenlife.de Maintenance and Care Instructions for the DVGW-Certified Treatment SystemThe special UV lamps should be replaced after 10,000 operating hours; otherwise, the disinfection rate will decrease. The filter cartridges for sediment filtration and the activated carbon filter should be replaced as needed, but at least every 4 months. You can order the replacement filter set for up to one year of water treatment from our shop. In addition, for your own safety, quality samples of the filtered water should be taken and tested at regular intervals. Advantages of the GreenLife Water Treatment System DVGW CERTRainwater treatment without chemicalsNo impairment of taste or odorExcellent water quality when using rainwaterLow-maintenance UV lampThe UV lamps used are characterized by a long service life, high disinfection performance, and low energy consumption Drinking water quality in remote locations without a drinking water connection DVGW-certified drinking water quality Long service life of the system, low operating costs Technical Notes for the DVGW ZERT Drinking Water Treatment SystemAll components are pre-assembled on a mounting plate3-stage filter: Cartridges pre-equipped with filter elementsAutomatic switch with check valve for demand-based pump controlDo not install outdoors if there is a risk of frostThe UV lamp for UV disinfection has a service life of approximately 10,000 hoursThe system requires 230 V / 50 Hz
With this set of filter cartridges, you can operate drinking water treatment systems (UV 2000 and DVGW-certified) for approximately one year. The sediment filter and activated carbon filter cartridges must be replaced every 4 months. The set consists of: 3x 20 µm sedimentation filter cartridges 3x 10 µm sedimentation filter cartridges 3x activated carbon filter cartridges
This pre-filter provides reliable protection against contaminants, so you can use rainwater or drinking water in your home with confidence. After that, simply replace the filter cartridge. The diameter of the inlet and outlet is 1 inch.
