Compact Basic Garden Irrigation Kit A ready-to-connect complete package that includes everything you need for rainwater irrigation in your garden. Except for the portable suction pump, everything is already professionally pre-installed. The suction pump is located outside the rainwater tanks and can also be used flexibly elsewhere. Do you have questions about the ideal tank size for your roof area and your individual consumption? Feel free to use our rainwater planner. Scope of delivery 1,000-liter underground tank/cistern made of high-quality polyethylene Plastic safety cover (walkable up to max. 200 kg) Inlet flow regulator (installed) Overflow siphon with animal protection (installed) Water connection box with click-in fittings 20.4 m gutter screen with filter function Floating intake filter including backflow preventer 10 m rainwater pressure hose Self-priming jet centrifugal pump with hose connection Labeling materials 15-year warranty on the underground tank in accordance with warranty terms How does garden irrigation work with the "basic" garden system?Rainwater flows from the roof through the gutter grate into the gutter and then via the downspout and the inlet surge arrester into the underground tank. (Multiple downspouts can also be connected.) The automatic submersible pressure pump located there is connected via a hose, which runs through a conduit, to the water tap. When the tap on the water tap is opened, the pump starts automatically. Closing the tap causes the submersible pressure pump to shut off on its own. You can install the water dispenser wherever is convenient for you. When the cistern is full, the rainwater drains off via the overflow siphon. The barrier integrated here, in turn, prevents small animals from entering. In winter, the pump must be disconnected from the power supply. Additionally, the water tap should remain open. You can find all further information in the download areaWho is the "basic" irrigation system suitable for? The complete set is suitable, on the one hand, for anyone who wants to keep the effort involved in installing their tank to a minimum. On the other hand, it is suitable for those who value the convenience of drawing water from a tap—for example, to fill a watering can. Is the "basic" garden system drive-over? The underground tank is not drive-over in this form. However, upon request, all underground tanks with a capacity of 2,200 liters or more can be retrofitted with our kit for vehicle traffic. The resulting wheel load is 600 kg per wheel—which is sufficient for standard passenger cars and small vans. In this case, however, the cistern must have a soil cover of at least 60 centimeters.Where does the water from the overflow go when the tank is full? The excess rainwater can, on the one hand, be discharged into the sewer system. However, this incurs fees. Another disadvantage: The water does not return to the groundwater naturally. A good alternative is soakaway blocks, which help guide the rainwater through the soil back into the groundwater .Do I need a rainwater filter? The complete garden irrigation set generally does not require a rainwater filter. However, if you place particular value on extra-clean water in your garden, you can install our fully biological Biovitor rainwater filter in all cisterns with a capacity of 2,200 liters or more. Our in-tank filter is suitable for 1,000-liter underground tanks. Important – Delivery Process: Our underground tanks are always delivered by a freight carrier. If accessories are shipped separately, this is done via a parcel service. The freight carrier will contact you 1–2 business days before the actual delivery date to clarify final details. For this, we need your phone number (ideally a cell phone number). We generally deliver cisterns or larger products by truck. The truck is unloaded at the curb. Please note, however, that suitable equipment (e.g., a mini-excavator) must be available on-site to move the cistern to the installation location, or 2–3 people may be required depending on the size. Please refer to the “Technical Data” table for the specific cistern for the exact weight. In some cases, such as double or multi-tank systems, delivery may be made by semi-trailer truck. Therefore, please inform us immediately after placing your order if the desired delivery address is NOT accessible to a 40-ton truck. Otherwise, we cannot accommodate this during delivery! Please also note that no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays.
A complete drinking water treatment system: Includes a rainwater tank, water filter, pump, and chemical-free drinking water treatmentComplete system for self-sufficient drinking water supply Do you want to be self-sufficient in drinking water? Do you want to collect rainwater and turn it into drinking water? Our rainwater system with drinking water treatment offers you an all-inclusive, worry-free package: It consists of a contaminant-free underground tank, a biological water filter, a high-performance pump, a reliable UV drinking water treatment system, and all necessary accessories. Please check with the relevant authority (e.g., your local health department) to see if additional municipal regulations apply to the operation of such a system. Do you have questions about the ideal tank size for your roof area and your individual consumption? Feel free to use our rainwater calculator.Main components of the rainwater treatment system Underground tank/cistern 4,700 liters The rainwater tank is made of high-quality, environmentally friendly polyethylene and is 100% recyclable. The material is chemically inert—meaning it has no effect on the quality of the stored water. Compared to concrete or metal tanks, this cistern is significantly lighter and easier to handle. The GreenLife underground tank is 100% watertight. It is delivered ready for connection and pre-assembled: three connections for inlet, overflow, and supply line/empty pipe connection (rubber lip seal DN 110), e.g., KG pipe. The cistern includes a continuously height-adjustable leveling dome and a walkable safety plastic cover. The slip-resistant pattern on the safety cover depicts the “Flower of Life,” a popular decorative motif understood in many cultures as a symbol of cosmic order. We provide a 15-year warranty on the underground tank in accordance with our warranty terms and conditions. Fully Biological Water Filter Biovitor The low-maintenance rainwater filter we developed purifies your water without chemicals and achieves a high yield of top-quality rainwater. Unlike conventional filters, the Biovitor uses the same natural processes for biological self-purification as our local waterways. The Biovitor contains no wear parts, so you can rely on maintenance intervals of up to ten years. UV Drinking Water Treatment System The GreenLife water treatment system, with its compact design and low energy consumption, impresses with its high disinfection performance; treatment is carried out without chemicals. After purification using two sediment filters and one activated carbon filter, any remaining bacteria, germs, or viruses are rendered harmless through UV disinfection. The UV lamp requires minimal maintenance; it should be replaced after 10,000 operating hours (as disinfection performance decreases). The system has a long service life. GUP 46 Clear Water Pressure Pump The high-quality, durable, and powerful GUP 46 submersible pressure pump delivers clear water to the desired locations in the house. As a multistage submersible pressure pump, it is primarily used in building services. A float switch acts as dry-run protection. All water-carrying parts of the pump are made of stainless steel. How the GreenLife Rainwater Treatment System with Underground Tank and Drinking Water Treatment Works Rainwater is directed from the available roof surfaces to the cistern (rainwater tank). Whenever possible, only roof runoff water should be used, as—unlike with courtyard and driveway surfaces—relatively low levels of contamination are expected. If leaves are expected, a gutter screen or similar leaf separator technology must be used. Once the rainwater reaches the cistern, the fully biological Biovitor rainwater filter ensures effective pre-filtration. As soon as a faucet is turned on at a connected outlet in the house, the vacuum water pump in the cistern starts up: The pre-filtered rainwater is transported by the pump to the drinking water treatment system. The rainwater to be treated first passes through two sediment filters (20 μm and 10 μm), then an activated carbon filter, and finally undergoes highly effective UV disinfection. The water is now safe to drink. For your own safety, water quality samples should be tested at regular intervals. The maximum treatment capacity of the drinking water treatment system is 2,000 liters per hour. For more information, see “Downloads” (above as a separate tab). Important Information and Technical Notes Underground tank system with Biovitor Install according to the installation instructions (see the "Downloads" tab). The underground tank is not drive-over in this configuration. Upon request, all underground tanks with a capacity of 2,200 liters or more can be retrofitted with our drive-over kit for passenger cars. When the tank is full, our infiltration cubes, infiltration blocks, or infiltration shafts offer good options for allowing overflowing rainwater to seep into the ground. Rainwater can also be directed in an environmentally friendly manner across the ground surface into an infiltration basin; this is the most eco-friendly option.Drinking Water Treatment UV 2000All components are pre-assembled on a mounting plate. The cartridges, including the filter cartridges of the three-stage filter, are pre-installed. An automatic switch with a check valve controls the pump as needed.Install the UV 2000 inside the building/utility room—not outdoors if there is a risk of frost. The UV lamp for UV disinfection has a service life of approximately 10,000 hours. The lamp can be turned off when you are away. The system requires 230 V / 50 Hz.For your own safety, the treated water should be checked at regular intervals. Compact small-scale system for self-supply with DVGW certificationTreat rainwater into drinking water without chemicals Do you want to be less dependent on tap water, or do you simply not have a water connection? But do you have the option to collect rainwater? Then our rainwater treatment system with a UV disinfection unit and DVGW type-approval certificate is the right solution for you: This system can reliably meet the requirements of local health authorities regarding a DVGW-certified system. Please also check with your local authority (e.g., the public health department in Germany) to see if any additional local regulations apply to the operation of such a system. Whether it’s a single-family home, industrial or commercial facility, construction trailer, boathouse, or other remote building: With the GreenLife drinking water treatment system, you can supply yourself with good drinking water—derived from an inexhaustible, natural resource: rainwater! Rainwater is formed through evaporation in the atmosphere—an excellent and free initial treatment. As a result, rainwater has a high basic quality as drinking and utility water. Among other things, it is free of lime and phosphate as well as hormone and medication residues. Treating the water is advisable, as it can reabsorb substances before being stored in the tank. How the drinking water treatment system works With our system, rainwater is treated into drinking water without chemicals: After mechanical filtration, bacteria, germs, and viruses are inactivated through UV disinfection, rendering them harmless. Via the GUP 46 submersible pressure pump, the rainwater you have collected in a water tank (cistern) is fed to the DVGW-certified drinking water UV treatment system. There, it first passes through two sediment filters (20 µm and 10 µm), then an activated carbon filter, and finally undergoes UV disinfection. The system can treat a maximum of 3.4 m³/h of water. It has been tested for safety and functionality by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). For further information, please contact us at info@greenlife.de Maintenance and Care Instructions for the DVGW-Certified Treatment SystemThe special UV lamps should be replaced after 10,000 operating hours; otherwise, the disinfection rate will decrease.
