Reliable pre-filter for rainwater infiltration – for effective rainwater filtration Reliably protect your infiltration system from dirt and coarse particles – with our high-quality rainwater pre-filter. The pre-assembled filter chamber, made of durable, eco-friendly plastic, is the ideal solution for efficient and long-lasting rainwater infiltration. Your benefits at a glance:Ready to connect & ready for immediate use (inlet & outlet DN 110)Effective coarse debris filtration for clean waterEasy maintenance and quick cleaningDurable, walkable plastic cover includedEnvironmentally friendly & fully recyclableUV-resistant and opaque Product description The rainwater pre-filter impresses with its ease of use, long service life, and quick installation. Incoming rainwater is filtered through a coarse debris filter basket. Filterable solid particles such as leaves and sand remain in the basket, while the purified water then flows into the infiltration system. The filter unit is easily accessible and can be easily inspected and cleaned—ideal even in areas with heavy leaf fall. Technical DetailsTwo pre-assembled DN 110 connections with rubber lip sealsInlet and outlet for standard KG pipeInspection opening Ø 400 mmCuttable shaft with marking groovesMaterial: Polyethylene (PE), free of harmful substances, chemically inertWalkable cover, child-proof screw-on Application This pre-filter is ideal for use in infiltration systems, e.g., in combination with infiltration trenches, infiltration cubes, or infiltration blocks. It can also be placed upstream of a cistern to treat incoming rainwater. Material, Manufacturing & QualityOur rainwater pre-filter is made of polyethylene (PE)—a material ideally suited for rainwater products because it is environmentally friendly, free of harmful substances, and chemically inert, meaning it does not react with other substances. Thus, the quality of the rainwater is not negatively affected. Maintenance & Installation Instructions As with the installation of KG pipes, the rainwater filter must also be embedded in gravel and compacted evenly all around. Please ensure—using a spirit level, for example—that the filter is installed horizontally. The shaft can be cut to any length and easily adapted to local conditions. It features circumferential marking grooves that serve as a guide when cutting with a standard jigsaw. Depending on the amount of fallen leaves, the filter insert should be removed several times a year for cleaning and, if necessary, rinsed with a garden hose. Durable rainwater pre-filter with coarse debris basket – pre-assembled, low-maintenance, long-lasting The “Easy Pro” rainwater pre-filter is the reliable solution for pre-filtering rainwater before it enters your cistern or infiltration system. With two pre-assembled DN100 connections and a high-quality, walkable cover, this pre-filter offers an optimal combination of functionality, safety, and design. Thanks to the coarse debris filter basket installed in the shaft, coarse contaminants are efficiently retained. The filtered rainwater then flows cleanly for further use or infiltration into the ground. The filter is easily accessible, particularly easy to maintain, and ideally suited for installation in the ground. PE is not only durable and shatter-resistant, but also fully recyclable, free of harmful substances, and chemically inert. This ensures that the quality of the filtered rainwater remains unaltered. Thanks to its high-quality construction, the filter is particularly easy to install and maintain. It is manufactured in a resource-efficient manner, partly using recycled plastic. Compared to pre-filters made of other materials, PE offers better recyclability, lower weight, and easier handling—both during installation and ongoing operation. Installation and Maintenance Instructions The filter should be embedded in a sand bed in a horizontal position and compacted. (An inclined position can impair function.) The shaft can be shortened and adapted to local conditions. For cleaning, we recommend regularly rinsing the filter basket with a garden hose depending on the amount of fallen leaves. Inlet calming: The inflowing rainwater is slowed down by the inlet calming device. 2. Sedimentation: Coarse particles (e.g., sand, silt) settle in the spacious sedimentation chamber. 3. Filtration in the submerged pipe: Suspended solids, fine particles, fats, and oils are retained before the water enters the cistern or infiltration system. 4. Downstream system protected: Ideal for rainwater harvesting or safe infiltration. Material & Quality The rainwater filter shaft is made of high-quality, UV-stable polyethylene (PE)—it is shatterproof, durable, and 100% recyclable. The sustainable material is chemically inert and therefore ideally suited to ensuring long-term water quality. The shaft is fully pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. Installation & Maintenance The filter shaft (rainwater) is placed horizontally in a sand bed, filled in layer by layer, and compacted. The extendable leveling dome allows for easy adjustment to the ground level. Maintenance of the filter system is conveniently carried out via the inspection opening in the dome.
