Garden Irrigation System: "Quick" Garden System Garden irrigation with a ground-level water outlet Our "quick" garden system easily supplies your garden with rainwater. The space-saving, at-ground-level water outlet, to which two hoses can be connected simultaneously, is particularly practical. The ready-to-connect complete set includes all the components you need for easy garden irrigation. Do you have questions about the ideal tank size for your roof area(s) and your individual usage? Feel free to use our rainwater planner. Scope of delivery: 1,000-liter underground tank / cistern made of high-quality polyethylene Plastic safety cover (walkable up to max. 200 kg) Inlet flow regulator (installed) Overflow siphon with animal protection (installed) Water connection box with click-in fittings 20.4 m gutter screen with filter function 10 m rainwater pressure hose GAP X120 clear water pressure pump with integrated automatic switch, dry-run protection, and 15 m connection cable Labeling materials 15-year warranty on the underground tank in accordance with warranty terms How does garden irrigation work with the "quick" garden system?Rainwater flows from the roof through the gutter grate into the gutter and then via the downspout and the inlet surge arrester into the underground rainwater tank. (Multiple downspouts can also be connected.) The automatic submersible pressure pump located there is connected to the water connection box via a hose that runs through a conduit. When the faucet in the box is opened, the pump starts automatically. Closing the faucet causes the submersible pressure pump to shut off on its own. When the cistern is full, the rainwater drains off via the overflow siphon. The barrier integrated here, in turn, prevents small animals from entering. In winter, the pump must be disconnected from the power supply. In addition, the water tap should remain open. You can find all further information in the download area. Who is the "quick" garden irrigation system suitable for? The complete set is particularly suitable for garden owners who prefer ground-level water extraction from a tap and also want two connection points. Is the "quick" garden system drive-over? The rainwater tank is not drive-over in this configuration. However, upon request, all cisterns with a capacity of 2,200 liters or more can be retrofitted with our kit for vehicle traffic. The resulting wheel load is 600 kg per wheel—which is sufficient for standard passenger cars and small vans. In this case, however, the cistern must be covered with at least 60 centimeters of soil. Where does the water from the overflow go when the tank is full? The excess rainwater can be discharged into the sewer system. However, this incurs fees. Another disadvantage: The water does not return to the groundwater naturally. A good alternative is infiltration shafts or infiltration cubes, which help guide the rainwater through the soil back into the groundwater. Do I need a rainwater filter? The complete garden irrigation set generally does not require an additional rainwater filter. However, if you place particular importance on extra-clean water in your garden, you can install our fully biological Biovitor rainwater filter in all cisterns with a capacity of 2,200 liters or more. Our in-tank filter is suitable for 1,000-liter underground tanks. Important: Delivery Process Our underground tanks are always delivered by a freight carrier. If accessories are shipped separately, this is done via a parcel service. The freight carrier will contact you 1–2 business days before the actual delivery date to clarify final details. For this, we need your phone number (ideally a cell phone number). We generally deliver cisterns or larger products by truck. Unloading of the truck takes place curbside. Please note, however, that for transporting the cistern to the installation site, suitable equipment (e.g., a mini-excavator) must be provided on-site, or depending on the size, 2–3 people must be available. Please refer to the “Technical Data” table for the exact weight of the respective cistern. In In individual cases, it may happen that, for example, double or multi-tank systems are delivered by a semi-trailer truck. Therefore, please inform us immediately after placing your order if the desired delivery address CANNOT be accessed by a 40-ton truck. Otherwise, we will not be able to accommodate this during delivery! Please also note that no deliveries are made on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Biological Filter for Rainwater Harvesting Are you looking for a low-maintenance rainwater filter that purifies your water without chemicals and achieves a high yield of top-quality rainwater? Then you’re in good hands with the GreenLife Biovitor. The Biovitor contains no wear parts, so you can rely on maintenance intervals of up to ten years. We developed the GreenLife Biovitor to eliminate the need for chemical additives and high-maintenance filters in rainwater purification. Unlike conventional designs, the Biovitor uses the same natural processes for biological self-purification as our local water bodies. This ensures consistently high-quality rainwater in your rainwater harvesting system. How our patented BIOVITOR biological rainwater filter works The Biovitor purifies your rainwater 100% chemical-free based on the natural decomposition process of organic material, such as leaf debris. It consists of two optimally sized chambers that guarantee highly efficient biological processes. Here’s how it works: Rainwater flows through the gutter grate (or other leaf guards) into the gutter and finally through the downspout into the Biovitor, which is located in the tank or cistern. The first chamber contains marble gravel, which can slightly raise the pH of the water to neutralize slightly acidic rain, if necessary. This also slightly mineralizes the rainwater. From here, the pre-treated water flows into the second chamber, which is equipped with bio-active media. Here, the remaining organic components are decomposed and broken down in the water using oxygen and natural microorganisms. Inorganic components settle at the bottom. The clear and clean water then slowly enters the rainwater tank to avoid creating turbulence. The Biovitor acts as an inlet stabilizer and achieves 100% rainwater yield, as there are no losses due to contaminated rainwater filters.Applications for the BIOVITOR Rainwater Filter Our biological rainwater filter improves the quality of your rainwater through biological processes. It is suitable for all cisterns and can be retrofitted to almost all rainwater systems. Additionally, the Biovitor is very well suited for a rainwater system with subsequent infiltration; an additional filter before infiltration is then not necessary. GreenLife's gutter guard is the perfect filter for rainwater. Whether the water is collected in cisterns or rain barrels, plant debris such as leaves and twigs can reduce water quality. It is therefore always recommended to pre-filter rainwater as thoroughly as possible, starting right at the gutter. Leaf guards filter rainwater Especially in the fall, when trees shed their leaves, it can be very frustrating when heavy rain causes leaves to enter the downspout and thus the rainwater tank. Not only does the quality of the collected water suffer from the debris, but it can also quickly clog the downspout. Cleaning often involves a lot of effort. Therefore, always use a leaf guard. Potential problems without a leaf guard Clogged downspouts Blockages in water hoses or showerheads Discoloration of the water Reduced water quality Staining of the gutter Breeding ground for pests With this simple leaf guard from GreenLife, such problems are a thing of the past. Assembly is incredibly easy, and cleaning usually requires nothing more than a hand brush. The gutter guard also provides reliable protection against birds. They can no longer nest in the gutter and must find other places to settle. Can I filter the rainwater even further? Yes, because the gutter guard is only a pre-filter. Depending on the type of your rainwater harvesting system, you can also use downspout filters, built-in filters, or tank-mounted filters. In addition to these mechanical filters, the patented Biovitoren for cisterns can also be used. These are biological filters that require very little maintenance. Installation of the gutter protection grid Installing the gutter guard is very straightforward. Each package contains segments for approximately 3.00 meters, which simply slot together. Depending on the width of the gutter, the guard can be folded. It fits any standard gutter size.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVG8j1yDEMM
DetailsFor filtering rainwater. The filter is installed in the ground in front of the tank. The height difference between the inlet and outlet is 130 mm. The filter contains a slotted screen with a mesh size of 0.8 mm. During heavy rain or when the water level is very high, debris is removed from the surface of the screen. Thanks to this self-cleaning effect, maintenance requirements are lower than with basket filters. Suitable for surface drainage up to 160 m². A hook for lifting the filter is included in the scope of delivery.Technical Data Material: PolyethyleneWeight: 14.0 kgDiameter (shaft): 400 mmHeight: 1,190 mm
DetailsSmooth inflow of rainwater into the rainwater storage tank.
