Trinkwasseraufbereitungsanlage UV 2000 – GreenLife
UV 2000 drinking water treatment system

Small-scale system for self-sufficiency: Turn rainwater into drinking water! Turn rainwater into drinking water without chemicals using the GreenLife UV 2000 drinking water treatment system If you want to be independent of tap water or simply don’t have a water connection but do have access to rainwater, then our UV 2000 drinking water treatment system is just right for you. Whether for a home, industrial or commercial facility, construction trailer, boathouse, etc.: With the GreenLife water treatment system, you can supply yourself with good drinking water—treated from rainwater! Let’s first consider rainwater: It is formed through evaporation in the atmosphere—an excellent and free initial treatment. As a result, rainwater has a high baseline quality as drinking and utility water. Among other things, it is free of lime and phosphate as well as hormone and medication residues. Treating the water is advisable, as it can reabsorb substances before being stored in the tank.  Please check with your local authority (e.g., the public health department in Germany) to see if any additional local regulations apply to the operation of such a system.  If you have any questions, please contact us at info@greenlife.de.How the drinking water treatment system works Rainwater treatment is chemical-free: After mechanical filtration, bacteria, germs, and viruses are rendered harmless through UV disinfection. The system is characterized by exceptionally high disinfection efficiency combined with a compact design and low energy consumption. First, the rainwater is directed to the tank (cistern). Whenever possible, only roof runoff water should be used, as—unlike with yard and driveway surfaces—relatively low levels of contamination are expected. If leaf fall is anticipated, please use gutter screens or similar devices to prevent leaves from entering the tank. For optimal pre-filtration in the (rainwater) tank, we recommend using our fully biological rainwater filter BIOVITOR.The pre-filtered rainwater is transported from the cistern to the UV 2000 drinking water treatment system via the GUP 46 submersible pressure pump. There, it first passes through two sediment filters (20 µm and 10 µm), then an activated carbon filter, and finally undergoes UV disinfection: The water to be treated flows through the housing and is directed along the quartz immersion tube in which the lamp is mounted. The thin water film thickness of only 7.5 mm (referring here to the distance between the UV light exit on the quartz tube surface and the inner wall of the housing) ensures optimal penetration of the medium by the UV light. The maximum treatment capacity of the drinking water treatment system is 2,000 liters per hour. Maintenance and Care Instructions for the UV 2000 Treatment System The special UV lamps should be replaced after 10,000 operating hours; otherwise, the disinfection rate will decrease. The UV lamp can be switched off when the system is not in use. The compact design allows for easy, tool-free lamp removal and replacement, e.g., at the end of the lamp’s service life. For cleaning purposes, the quartz immersion tube can also be removed or installed without tools. The filter cartridges for sediment filtration and the activated carbon filter should be replaced as needed, but at least every 4 months. You can order the set of replacement filters for up to one year of water treatment from our shop.In addition, for your own safety, quality samples of the filtered water should be taken and tested at regular intervals.  Advantages of the GreenLife UV 2000 Water Treatment System No chemicals are introduced into the water being treatedNo impairment of smell or taste Excellent water quality when using rainwaterLow-maintenance UV lampThe UV lamps used are characterized by a long service life, high disinfection efficiency, and low energy consumptionDrinking water quality in remote locations without a drinking water connectionLong service life of the systemLow operating costsTechnical Notes for the UV 2000 Drinking Water Treatment SystemAll components are pre-assembled on a mounting plate3-stage filter: Cartridges pre-equipped with filter elementsAutomatic switch with check valve for demand-based pump controlInstall inside the building/utility room (not outdoors if there is a risk of frost)The UV system is made of electropolished stainless steelThe UV lamp for UV disinfection has a service life of approximately 10,000 hoursThe system requires 230 V / 50 Hz

Geotextile: Without geotextile

includes a leveling dome Includes walk-on plastic cover Includes coarse debris filter basket without KG pipe and without KG fitting You will need approx. 30 m² of geotextile for the installation of this shaft The 1,000-liter infiltration shaft is suitable for the retention, infiltration, and drainage of rainwater. The inlet to the infiltration shaft is equipped with a DN 100 rubber lip seal. The incoming rainwater is filtered through a coarse debris filter basket suspended inside the shaft. The infiltration shaft is easy to maintain, inspect, and clean. Local soil conditions are crucial for the correct design of an infiltration system and must be verified via a soil survey or an infiltration test. The design of the infiltration system must be adapted based on the soil’s actual infiltration capacity—please read the installation instructions and the instructions for the infiltration test very carefully. The 950 L, 1,000 L, and 2,000 L infiltration shafts can also be made accessible to cars and trucks with optional accessories. Entlüftung Wassertank
Aerator and vent with DN 100 emergency overflow

Vent and air release valves for safe pressure equalization & reliable emergency drainage The vent and air release valve with DN 100 emergency overflow ensures reliable air equalization in tanks, pipes, and soakaway systems and effectively protects the system against overpressure or underpressure. If the maximum water level is exceeded, for example during heavy rain, the component also acts as an emergency overflow for safe drainage. The vent is typically installed at the end of an infiltration system and is usually discreetly located outdoors, e.g., in a hedge or flower bed. To ensure that (rain)water can flow smoothly into the system, a controlled air outlet must be provided elsewhere. For this purpose, a DN 100 KG pipe is installed behind the system, which safely guides the air to the surface. The vent is the terminus of this line and is designed to reliably prevent the entry of animals. Product Features & Benefits at a Glance Pressure equalization during water withdrawal or supply – prevents damage caused by overpressure or underpressure Automatic venting and de-airing – ensures trouble-free system operation Integrated emergency overflow – protects against overfilling during heavy rain Standard DN 100 connection – compatible with common KG pipe systems Lightweight & durable – approx. 350 g, made of robust polypropylene Made in Germany – manufactured to high quality standards and DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 Typical applications Rainwater storage tanks & infiltration systems – for ventilation and emergency drainage Wastewater collection pits & infiltration systems in wastewater treatment plants – for pressure equalization and operational reliability Sustainability The product is made of durable, single-grade, and fully recyclable polypropylene. The material is long-lasting, free of harmful substances, environmentally friendly, and chemically inert – it has no impact on the environment. The production and recycling of this plastic are resource-efficient. Responsible use in line with the circular economy is a central component of our sustainable practices. Notes The vent should be inspected once or twice a year to ensure consistently reliable operation.
